If you laughed at the Vine above, guess what?
You just released endorphins, which are making you feel happier this very second.
One man who knows this all too well is 24-year-old GrapeStory co-founder, and smile-inducing extraordinaire, Jerome Jarre.
If you haven’t seen Jerome in action, you’re missing out. Just ask Beyoncé.
Jerome is quite possibly the happiest human on the planet. Not only does he LOVE LIFE LIKE CRAZY (we’ll take some of whatever he’s on), he makes millions of Jerhomies around the world smile every day through his hilarious antics. One visit to his Vine, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook profile and you’ll be hooked for life. We certainly are.
Which is why we’re beyond thrilled that he chose MakeSpace to store his stuff while he travels the world for a year (see if you can spot the green MakeSpace bins), including some of his most precious belongings — fan mail.
Not only that, but we also had the pleasure of chatting with Jerome during his recent trip to Brazil. Here’s what he shared:
What’s your goal for this year-long, 20-country adventure?
Chasing happiness.
I want to make people happier, but the only way for this is to make myself happier first! It’s just like how the richest man on Earth could feed a lot of people. The happiest man on Earth can probably make a lot of people happy.
Why did you decide to take this adventure now, instead of a year from now?
A year from now I might be dead. The world might not exist anymore. There is no such thing as a year from now. There is only now.
We had a chance to look through your amazing fan mail bin. What other type of interesting things are you storing in MakeSpace?
They’re things that I don’t want to keep because having all of this around me will just slow me down. But at the same time, they’re things that I have feelings for. Like a book from my mom, or a shirt from a friend. I am very sentimental. And feelings stop me from throwing stuff away.
After this adventure is over, what will you do next? Do you think you’ll come back to New York? If not, where?
I have no idea what I am doing next. I really want to focus on this adventure right now and not worry about the future. Worrying is a waste of time.
What did you take with you on the trip? What can’t you live without?
I really took the minimum I need. A few shirts, a few underwears, and a few pants. Some bathroom products, a French flag, a speedo, and a turtle floater. The most important are my recording devices: 3 phones, 2 cameras, and a lot of batteries. It all fits in one small luggage and a backpack.
We found a ducky floater in one of your bins, similar to the one you wore on the American Airlines flight (#AmericanAirlinesCHILLOUT). How many of those do you actually own?
You found the mama. I am traveling with baby ducky. Which is actually a turtle. The mama version is for friends if they want to walk around NYC with me dressed up in a Speedo and floater. It creates great friendships and makes people in the street laugh for a minute. I love doing that.
And we love you, Jerome.
Some say Snapple is made from the best stuff on earth. We say Jerome’s heart is.
Thank you, Jerome, for helping all of us #lovelifelikecrazy.
