“My mother taught me two rules of thumb: 1. Don’t buy something unless it’s to die for.
2. If it is to die for, make sure it goes with five things in your closet.I think it’s really important to get more bang for your buck and learn how to wear things more than one way. It keeps it fresh and interesting.”
It’s her fresh and interesting perspective that fuels Christine Cameron’s successful and creative career. She does what she loves, and it’s inspiring women to create stylish outfits with items they already have. Maximizing threads while minimizing spending is her forte.
Combined with her passion for fashion, the NYC-based personal stylist/wardrobe consultant/fashion blogger/writer/editor launched My Style Pill in 2008, where she’s turned herself into what we’d call Fashion’s Remix Artist. She remixes outfits in novel ways, giving her readers inspiration on how to get the most of their wardrobe so they never worry about “having nothing to wear.”
Some of her recent wardrobe remixes include:

“Being a fashion blogger and a personal stylist are both dream jobs for me,” Christine shared with Refinery 29. “I love getting up every day. I’m very inspired every day. I never feel sluggish about the work that I have to do because it’s always fresh and new. It’s such a playful job and it’s very positive and fun.”
Over the past few years, the self-proclaimed “chameleon” has collaborated with brands like Saks Fifth Avenue, BaubleBar, Nixon, Movado, Levi’s, UGG, and Timex. Her work has also been featured in spots like Vogue, Glamour, Lucky, People Style Watch, Refinery 29, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, Huffington Post, and Redbook.
At the same time, being Fashion’s Remix Artist means having plenty of material to work with, which requires a lot of extra closet space. Christine houses her stylish off-season ensembles in MakeSpace.
