Woodbridge can be found in Prince William County, Virginia, just 20 miles south from the nation’s capital. Much of Woodbridge’s population lives in the area and then commutes to places like Washington DC on the metro. In terms of things to see and do in Woodbridge, it depends on what time of the year it is and what you want to do. That’s because Woodbridge is home to Occoquan Bay National Park, Leesylvania State Park, and the Potomac Mills Mall. You can visit the mall, one of the largest outlet malls in all of Northern Virginia (NOVA), at any point in the year. During the nicer times of the year, visit Occoquan Bay National Park and Leesylvania State Park for a breathtaking experience. If you happen to be in Woodbridge between April and September, check out a Potomac Nationals baseball game. They play around 140 games during the season. In terms of food, BBQ fans love Dixie Jones BBQ. Water’s Edge is another popular spot. Woodbridge does a nice job of offering visitors and residents a mixture of established chains and smaller, locally-owned places where you can grab a scrumptious bite to eat.
