Storage units in South Boston
South Boston, which many fondly refer to as Southie is one of the metro area’s oldest surviving neighborhoods.
Today it sees some of the highest property values in Boston, but the neighborhood does comprise a relatively diverse economic and ethnic demographic. South Boston Waterfront, also known as Seaport District, is a becoming a growing local area attraction. This includes more than 50 restaurants, lining Boston Harbor. Other attractions include the Institute of Contemporary Art, as well as the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
There are also a number of parks within walking distance, including Dorchester Heights, where George Washington overcame the British Troops during the Revolutionary War.
